She also noticed he needed more socks.
She bought the weirdest socks she could in Korea and made them into a calendar on his apartment wall. (Complete with 2 pieces of chocolate every day so she wouldn’t miss out.)

Inspired by Amanda’s postcard project (the very first Love Project), Joseph built an app where he could talk to Mandy while she traveled. The app is built off Instagram circa 2015, so the design looks rather foreign as we write this in 2019.
Polaroid Apartment Gallery

Joseph purchased Amanda a manual polaroid camera. Amanda decided to make Joseph a gallery in his apartment as a thank you (she was still studying museum curation at UCLA). She listened to the songs they liked listening to and chose lines from each song to write a poem. For the gallery, she printed out those lines, and hung the polaroids, framed by their polaroid box packaging. To add a cherry on top, she had Joseph brainstorm “stereotypical gallery music” on their walk up to the apartment so the ambiance was right. All of that, plus a bottle of cheap wine - an art gallery opening in his own home.
